Accepting these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Hesabnote (“Hesabnote”, “we”, “us”) for the use of hesabnote.com, the Hesabnote accounting service, its API and browser extension (together, the “Service”). By requesting an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you accept on behalf of an agency, you confirm you are authorised to bind that agency.
The service
Hesabnote is online bookkeeping software for travel and ticketing agencies. It lets you record ticket sales, supplier (B2B) balances, customer receivables, payments, expenses and journal entries, and produces accounting reports from them.
Agency accounts
- Agencies request an account and we review each request. We may approve or decline a request at our discretion.
- The information you give us must be true and kept up to date.
- The person who requests the account becomes the agency owner and controls the agency's users, permissions and settings.
Staff users and security
- Each person must use their own login. Do not share passwords.
- You are responsible for everything done through your agency's users and API key, and for removing access when staff leave.
- Tell us straight away at support@hesabnote.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Your data
Your agency owns the records it enters. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to provide, secure and improve the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records and for having the right to record your customers' and passengers' information.
We keep each agency's data separate from other agencies. Page layouts learned from ticket capture (which labels hold which fields) may be used to improve reading for all agencies; your records themselves are never shown to other agencies.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or to hide the source of funds.
- Try to access another agency's data, or probe, scan or disrupt the Service or its security.
- Copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
- Upload malicious code or send automated traffic beyond normal use of the API.
- Use the browser extension on websites or data you are not allowed to access.
Not financial or tax advice
Hesabnote is a bookkeeping tool. Reports are calculated from the data and exchange rates you enter. It does not replace a qualified accountant, auditor or tax adviser, and you remain responsible for your tax filings and legal obligations.
Fees
- Free trial. Each new agency gets a 14-day free trial with full access. You are not charged during the trial.
- Subscription. After the trial, Hesabnote costs 9.99 USD per agency per month, charged monthly in advance. Taxes may be added where required.
- Cancel any time. You can cancel with one click. There is no contract and no cancellation fee. You keep access until the end of the month you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
- Price changes. If the price changes, we will tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you.
- Fees already paid are not refundable unless the law requires otherwise or we say so in writing.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Hesabnote available and reliable, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We may add, change or remove features over time. If we remove something important to you, we will try to give you reasonable notice.
Our intellectual property
The Service, the Hesabnote name and logo, and the software and design belong to Hesabnote. These Terms give you the right to use the Service for your agency's business; they do not transfer any ownership to you.
Suspension and ending
You may stop using Hesabnote at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts other users or the Service at risk, or is required to be closed by law. Where possible we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not give warranties that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, notify agency owners. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
